DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THESE DIMINISHING RETURNS.Before you begin calculating upgrades please take all of your gear offand record your stats with the talents that you would like. Put thatinformation in a sacred place and keep it for further use. You will add this to the total that you derive later on.
I'mnot going to try to claim credit for this. The information in it'soriginal context will be posted at the end. I'm going to explain themath behind it in as much of a simple/cynical way that is possiblewithout losing the substance.
The formula: Dodge:

AAD= Is your actual amount of avoidance (dodge in this case)
C= This is the cap of the avoidance stat (dodge in this case)
K= This is a coefficient that regulates the diminishing of stats
A= This is the amount of avoidance before the diminishing returns are imposed
Don'tbe alarmed it's really simple. Just basic mathematical principlesexercised in succession that make it appear seemingly complex andintricate to those unfamiliar with very much math.
We used Dodge in this case. So what we must do is find all of our attributes and turn them into dodge. Remember
DO NOT INCLUDE BASE STATS OR TALENTS.The ratings for dodge are in other posts on this forum. I will usegeneric numbers because I don't want to clutter this anymore than italready is. Everyone can grasp what these variables are. AD is what youhave blizzard fucks your stat. C is the limit of a stat. K is a magicalnumber derived from the heavens. A is how much dodge or parry orwhatever you have.
The limits of your greatness:

Nowall we have to do is plug in our shit. My hypothetical warrior has 18%(seemingly) worth of dodge gear/defense/agility contributions. Lets seewhat that 18% really turns out to be:
1/AD=0.011347+0.956/18In4rth grade we learned about an Order of Operations. This sets theprecedence and well the fucking order of operations. The name isliteral and figurative simultaneously. We will do Multiplicationfirst... which there is none. Division is second so lets get started.Remember the first fraction of 1/C is solved for us in that magicalfairy table up there

We have 0.956 divided by 18.The quotient is a division problem's answer is. The sum of and additionproblem is analytically identical to the quotient of a division one.Our answer is 0.0531
1/AD=0.011347+0.0531Now we add 0.011347 to 0.0531. The sum is 0.064447.
We now have:
1/0.064447 Now we divide 1 by 0.06447. Our % of actual dodge is 15.516%
Addthat to your base stats. You should be pulling that from the sacredgrove or wherever your RP ass put it. Simply add that to your 15.516%and you have your dodge%.
